He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and holds a neuromuscular subspecialty fellowship from Toronto, Canada. Dr. Abubaker has extensive experience in treating neuromuscular disorders and has published numerous articles on various topics. He is also founder of headache multidicplinary service in Dubai health. He is also a renowned speaker at regional and international neurology conferences. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Abubaker is also actively involved in research and teaching. She has completed her Speciality Certificate in Neurology from Royal college of Physicians (UK) and is a Fellow of American Academy of Neurology(FAAN).<\/p><p>She has worked in Government hospital Rashid hospital as Senior Specialist for 10 years and since last 7 years as Consultant and\u00a0 Head of Neuroscience department at Al Zahra Hospital which is a tertiary care hospital in Dubai. She is currently based out of Dubai, UAE and is the co-director for the largest Comprehensive Stroke Unit in the city, Rashid Hospital. She is the General Secretary and one of the founding members of MENA stroke organization and over the past years carried out many academic and training activities related to stroke across the region.
